Came out as a bit repetitive for me. Prison Boss is super fun! Your jail cell is always set to be the size of your playspace, so you never have to worry about running into walls! That is waaay more amazing than it sounds - it means you can get fully immersed and completely forget you are in a virtual world, and not have to keep "make sure you are in the middle of your room!" in the back of your head at all times. This also means it's great for playspaces of any size - from a closet to a living room, your cell will be the perfect size to move around in!The game can be fairly repetitive - it is a crafting simulator, after all - but you unlock new furniture to decorate your cell and new prison contraband to craft all the time, which keeps it fresh.It's very intuitive, and would make a good intro-to-VR game to people who you can't stand around explaining complicated controls to.. The game you NEED for your VIVE.The only negative thing I experienced with Prison Boss was that my VIVE was so sweaty after 2.3 hours that I had to quit or my headset would fall off.. A great addition to the VR library, has a job sim feel to it. Nothing buggy, didnt come across anything odd or out of place.Smooth gameplay, tutorial is a bit odd, could use a skip to end of current slide feature or something (unless i missed one i didnt see any)Most decent VR games can be blown through in about an hour, this actually has a reasonable amount of content to it.Released on sale, picked it up for like 16 bucks and i would say worth every penny.Good job guys, great game!. Very repetitive and I forget I even own this game. I only have a bit of time on it and I'm already bored of it. This game would only be worth it if it was $1-5. This game is addictive, I keep saying "ok one more night" (Which is a good sign). It's a ressource/space management type of game whith a time restraint. The recipes are more complex than I initially thought and requires that you actually craft the things with specific hand movements (although everything is easy to learn). This game was on special when I bought it and I wasn't expecting anything really but was positively surprised. Would recommend. i love love love the game! it is one of the best vr games out there. there are bugs but 1 there not major 2 all games have bugs. this game is a 10/10 there are a few things that the developers need to add but otherwise the best vr game.to developer: hi hopefully you are reading this i want to reccemd something [sorry for bad spelling] can you add there a unlimeted money and items mode/ you can buy everything for free so kinnda like a sandbox mode thank you for my attention and great game and goodbye. I wholeheartedly recommend this game. The controls are unique and fun, even if they are a little repetetive, but I actually enjoy repetetive motions and find them sorta relaxing. Add in the element of guards patrolling and having to hide behind cupboard doors and get creative to keep your little manufacturing company going and it's a fantastic game. 100% the best VR game I've played so far, and I LOVE the room/standing/seated options, because I'm disabled and it allows me to play without having to turn much or walk around or stand up. My only gripes, and something you should be aware of (potential buyers and devs both) is that A: when you rotate around sometimes your position shifts and suddenly a cupboard that you could get elbow deep in is suddenly needing you to toss items into it, instead (which really sucks when you're playing in a small space and want to shake a bottle or stir a bowl behind cover but now I'm smashing my controllers into the desk etc), and B: Sometimes you'll get caught because an item will fall out of a cupboard while you're putting something away to hide from the guards, or, which just happened to me immediately prior to this review, you'll go to close a drawer full of something and instead of grabbing the drawer, your pointer goes THROUGH the drawer and grabs an item inside, lifting and dumping anything on top of it onto the floor and now your night is over, and everything you had on countertops is gone, even if you had it hidden next to a cupboard. Very frustrating when you're 18~ days in and lose 90% of your stuff. Really in general grabbing a specific item out of a group of them can be a little annoying and cost you a lot of time.All that being said, I still 100% recommend this game. The little annoyances are only minor compared to how much I had playing it. Still have some ways to go and once my hands stop hurting I'll be diving back in and definitely suggest you get this game and do the same! <3
